The Bachelor Degree of the Ayurvedic course is called as B.A.M.S(Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery).Basically the duration of this course around 5 ½ years.Soon after completion of the Bachelor Degree in Ayurveda course,candidates are willing to go for the Masters Degree.So candidates need to follow the below eligibility criteria for Masters Degree in Ayurveda.

You can apply for the Post graduate Programmes.The Post Graduate program is called Doctor of Medicine in Ayurveda(M.D.Ayu) and the other Master of Surgery in Ayurveda(M.S.Ayu).

Other than the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery candidates,the MBBS completed candidates can also apply for the Post graduation programme.But the MBBS must be recognized by the Medical Council of India.

There are many Doctoral programs in Ayurveda,such as Ayurveda Samhita,Ayurveda Sidhanta,Dravyaguna Vigyan,Rachna Sharira,Prasuti Tantra,Swasth Vrita,Mano Roga,Shalakya Tantra,Panchkarma and more.Some of the colleges offering this course are,
