Detailed scope of HR specialization in MBA?


Hi, I am a student of MBA, studying in 1st semester. My specialization is HR. I would like to know what benefit I get as I have selected HR in my MBA. I want to know the scope of this specialization. Kindly tell me about this in details.

In HR department you have to deal with the following tasks:-
Creating employee-benefit plans
Employee recruitment, training
Employee retention
Performance analysis and provide performance appraisals
Compensation and rewarding
Industrial relations

It is a postgraduate level management education program.
2 years long program.
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Admission process is based on merit basis through entrance test in reputed colleges.

Media Companies
Banks

HR Professionals have following roles:-
HR Manager
Recruiter
Training and Development specialist
