After completing M.Ed, you will be eligible for senior teacher posts in higher secondary schools but one more thing I want to say that if you complete master's degree in a particular subject then also you can have good career and after master's degree you must go for entrance exams like - NET or SET or pursue PhD and M.Phil course because if you have PhD then you can become professor, assistant professor, lecturer in various government college because there is a lot of scope ahead in this field.
