Is is necessary to do B.Ed in chemistry for teaching job in same subject?

Hi, I am eligible for PGT. I have done M.Sc in general chemistry, but B.Ed in physics and mathematics methodology, for PGT chemistry teacher. Is it necessary to do B.Ed in chemistry methodology only. Please clarify my doubt.

If you are applying for PGT in chemistry, then you need to have degree in chemistry along with B.Ed in the same subject. There is no other qualification accepted.

For teaching specially PGT, you need to have a specialised degree. If you have studied physics and maths, then chemistry will not be suitable for you.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
