Should I start preparation for GRE if pursuing B.Tech(ME) 2nd year?


hi
i m doing my 2nd year B.E/mechanical ,
i am planning to study abroad and willing to write GRE ,
is this the correct time for preparation ???
please reply as soon as possible

Yes, definitely you can start your GRE preparation from your B.Tech Second year. But, it is best to start the preparation from your B.Tech third year because two years of preparation is sufficient to score good marks in GRE examination. The validity of GRE score is 5 years. So, if you appear for GRE examination when you are pursuing B.Tech final year, then, the score will be useful for you for next 5 years. Since, you want to appear for GRE examination in final year, you can start your preparation from B.Tech third year or B.Tech second year.
