I am 46 years old. Is there any specialization, that I can be allowed to do in India because I understand that there is the age restriction there. I completed my medicine and was interested in respiratory medicine or oncology.

As far as my best knowledge is concerned, there is no certain age criteria required in order to be eligible for doing courses after MBBS course in India. There are several streams to pursue after completion of MBBS course. They are,

>> MS/ MD

>> Combined Medical Services conducted by UPSC

>> Master's in Health Administration (MHA)

>> Master's in Biological Sciences...etc.,

As far as my good knowledge is concerned, MS/ MD is the most chosen path after completion of MBBS course. You must be an Indian Citizen in order to be eligible for doing this course.

You need to clear PG entrance exam for admission in any specialisation after MBBS degree. There is no age restriction for PG courses in any field. Hence, no need to worry.

You can apply for entrance exam and be prepared for it. Once you have a good score, you will be able to get admission in your choice of course.
