Re: What is the difference between M.Sc Chemistry and M.Sc Applied Chemistry?
There is simple difference between Master of Science in Chemistry and Master of Science in Applied Chemistry.
1. M.Sc chemistry is totally associated with theoretical knowledge of different concepts and there is no emphasis on practical application of such concepts or integration with industrial exposure whereas in applied chemistry, more focus is on application of knowledge of chemistry to industrial applications. 2. For example, chemistry is associated with properties of nitrogen or other elements whereas applied chemistry is associated with industrial application of nitrogen such as fertilizers, dyes etc. |

Re: What is the difference between M.Sc Chemistry and M.Sc Applied Chemistry?
Master of Science in Pure chemistry means no exposure to industrial application of different oxides and dioxides of different elements and its practical application in everyday life.
In case of applied chemistry, students study practical applications of oxides and its uses in industry like fertilizers etc. |
