sir i have passed ba in 1999 from calcutta university . it was two yrs course. but now i want
to do master degree in english. i am confused what to do pls help me

Yes you can do MA in English course after BA course. There is so much gap between your bachelor degree so it's difficult for you to get admission for the MA English course through regular mode. However you can do MA in English course through distance mode.

Master of Arts (M.A). The duration of the course is two years which is divided into four semesters.

MA Eligibility Criteria through distance mode: -

• Aspirants who have finished their graduation can apply for the MA English course.
• Aspirants require to get a pass mark in all subjects with backlogs in single subjects.
• Aspirants must studied ENGLISH as a main subject at graduation.
