Basically there is no percentage criteria required to be eligible for Government jobs. But to be in safe side, make sure your percentage is more than 60% in Post Graduation. The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for Government jobs is "Graduation" or "Bachelor Degree" in any discipline from a recognized university. Since you have completed Post Graduation, definitely it would be an added advantage to you in getting good job. Minimum age required is 21 years and the maximum age must not exceed 30 years, and age relaxation will be applicable for reserved (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen) candidates as per government norms. Government recruiting organizations generally ask for candidates to pass the qualifying examination, and there is no particular percentage criteria required to apply for Government jobs. But remember, final selection of a candidate will be based on the marks secured (Merit basis) in Written Examination and Personal Interview or in Whatever the selection process consists of.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
