GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This exam is conducted every year for getting admission in M.Tech Program in reputed colleges. You want to know to get admission in IIT or NIT’s without having GATE score.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for getting admission in NIT or IIT without GATE score if you have done B.Tech from any other college except IIT’s.

For admission of M.Tech program in IIT:

--The student must possess Qualifying GATE score card

--Those student who qualify their qualifying degree from any IIT with CGPA greater than 8 are exempted from giving the GATE exam.

For admission of M.Tech program in NIT:

--The admission in any NIT’s is done totally on the basis of GATE score card and through counseling. There is not any other way of taking admission in M.Tech course in NIT.

**So in my opinion if you decided to do the M.tech course from any IIT or NIT then you have to prepare for the GATE exam and score very good marks in the exam too to have a fair chance of getting admission through counseling.

Sorry, you are not eligible to pursue the M.Tech course from IITs or NITs without GATE examination.

GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and it is the examination conducted for the admission of the candidates in the M.tech courses.

Candidates who qualifies in the examination are only eligible to get the admission in the IIT or NIT. So you need to start the preparation for the examination to get the admission in IIT and NIT.

The application for the 2016 GATE examination is closed. So you have to wait for next year to appear for examination.

The admission to the master's degree in technology in top reputed institutes of India like IITs, NITs, IIITs and other government engineering colleges is only given on the basis of marks and rank secured in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

You can not get admission in these institutes without GATE scorecard. So, if you are really interested in doing M.Tech from top institutes of India, apply for the GATE exam. The important dates for online application of GATE 2016 exam is already over.

Hence, you must wait for the next year that is 2017 exam notification.

Indian Institute of Technology and National Institute of Technology are the premier engineering institutes of India for both undergraduate and post graduate courses. The one and the only way to get admission in these college through entrance exams:

1. B.Tech through JEE exams.

2. M.Tech through GATE exams.

There is no possibility for you to get admission in M.Tech course without GATE score in IIT and NIT.

Without having valid score GATE score card one cannot apply to pursue M.Tech in either NITs or IITs.

Without having GATE examination one cannot apply in IITs and NITs.

But it is possible to do M.Tech without having GATE in some of the other private universities like IIITs, central and self financed universities, Deemed universities.

GATE is the only way to get admission in IITs and NITs for your M.Tech program. There is a lot of competition for admission in these institutes and seats are never vacant after GATE counselling.

Therefore, if you want admission in any of these prestigious institutes then qualify the above mentioned exam is the only way for you.
