I have just completed my 10th and now looking forward to get admission in 11th. I want to know which stream is preferrable after 10th to become a software developer?

After completing 10th and choosing a stream in order to become a software developer would be that, you need to study computer science as subject in your respected 11th. The better choice would be choosing science stream with computer science as subject or choose commerce with computer science. Both of these courses offers you to join in software company.

Right after completing 12th in any of these streams you would be open to join in courses such as B.E or Arts. If you are going to choose Arts then you can opt in doing BCA or B.sc Computers and in the other case if you are doing B.E then you can opt in doing B.E in CSE or B.E in IT.

BRANCH AFTER 10th TO BECOME SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

** As per my suggestion After 10th you can choose M.P.C (Maths, Physics, and Chemistry) in the 11th.

** After that you have to appear in Engineering entrance exams or either you can take directly admission in Engineering colleges.

** On the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination you will be allotted college for the software engineering.

After 10th to become a software developer,

So you can join the Maths stream and one more thing you can must join the some software courses ofter completion of 12th standard.like C,C++,Java...

After completion of 12th you can join Engineering in IT field you became software developer as soon as possible.

It is nice to see you that you want to plan and work as per your future goal. The education system has become globalized and clear. Now, one can pursue courses in one field, then switch to other fields, and build professional life in the third field. However, since you want to become software developer, so the ideal stream which you should go for in 11th and 12th standard is - Science that includes the following subjects.

- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Computer Science
