The Civil service exam sociology paper I papers are generally of 300 marks. All together the paper has 8 questions. Every question is of 60 marks. Questions are divided in to sub groups and sub questions. Candidates are supposed to answer any 5 out of the given 8 questions. The 8 questions are divided in to 2 sections. First section, Section A, has questions from 1 to 4, and Section B has questions from 5 to 8. Question number 1 and 5 are compulsory to attempt. The rest three questions can be anything but should be 1 from each section. Below are attached some of the previous years question papers.
