INFORMATION ON BITSAT 2014 EXAM


BITSAT exam is conducted to select the candidates for Integrated First degree programmes of BITS Pilani campuses which are located in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

BITSAT 2014 exam registration is already started and goes on till 15/02/2014.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR BITSAT 2014 EXAM:

-> Candidate should have passed 12th from recognized board with PCM except for B.Pharm (Hons) course.

-> Candidate should have passed 12th with PCB or PCM to apply for B.Pharm (Hons.)

-> Candidate Admission will be based only on Merit with BITSAT score.

BITSAT 2014 EXAM PATTERN AND SYLLABUS:

The exam will be conducted for 3 hours and contains 4 parts with total 150 questions,

-> Part 1 - Physics - 40 questions.

-> Part 2 - Chemistry - 40 questions.

-> Part 3 - a) English Proficiency(15) b) Logical Reasoning(10) - 25 questions

-> Part 4 - Mathematics/Biology (For B.Pharm) - 45 questions.


Do keep in mind that there is negative marking applicable in the exam, so it's better not to touch those questions which you are not sure with the answers.

BITSAT 2014 exam syllabus is based on the NCERT syllabus followed for 11th and 12th grade. Check the BITSAT 2014 brochure Annexure to know more on detailed syllabus of the exam.
