Re: Can Chartered Accountancy be done after matriculation?
You have to pass 10+2 for Chartered Accountancy course. The minimum requirement for entry into CA course is 10+2 pass in any stream from a recognized board of education.
You can get register for CPT (Common Proficiency Test) after 10th class but you can appear for it only after completion of 12th class. Registration for CPC is done in the month of April/October. After registering prepare for CPT and clear it with good marks. You need to score 50% marks in CPT, then only you will be eligible for next stage of CA course. The questions in CPT will be based on following subjects: Session 1 : Section A : Fundamentals of Accounting - 60 Marks Section B : Mercantile Laws - 40 Marks Session 2 : Section A : General Economics - 50 Marks Section B : Quantitative Aptitude - 50 Marks For more information visit http://www.icai.org/ |
