Re: Exact age limit to appear for 10th exams according to CBSE norms?
CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education and same is a national board of examination in India.
As far as you are concerned about knowing the minimum age required for appearing in Class 10th board examination then as per the current norms it is 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which student is pursuing his/her Class 10th. So being born on 14th January 2010 and having completed her Class 2nd this year your daughter is likely to completely her Class 10th during the session 2024 - 2025. Further her age will be over 14 years by the 1st October 2024 which is the requirement for appearing in CBSE Class 10th board examination and hence she is eligible as per the current rule. Re: Exact age limit to appear for 10th exams according to CBSE norms?
According to CBSE norm the minimum age required for 10th standard of CBSE board is 14 years and 6 months.
Hence a student below the age of 14 years and 6 moths are not eligible to appear for CBSE 10th board examination. Every state board has their own age criteria, but they are almost identical. |

Re: Exact age limit to appear for 10th exams according to CBSE norms?
CBSE board has not fixed any minimum or maximum age to appear in class 10 examination however; at the time of admission the student should satisfy the requirements of age limits which is determined by the State/ U.T Government as applicable to the place where the school is located. Age will not create any trouble.

As per CBSE norms the exact age limit to appear for class 10th exams is 15 years for both girls as well as boys. If you are less than 15 then you are not allowed to appear in 10th examination. But if you are more than 15 years then also you are eligible to appear in 10th examination.
