Hello friends, I am 13 years old right now and studying in 9th standard of CBSE Board. I will give my 10th Board exam at the age of 14 years and 8 months. So, according to CBSE Board, I can be eligible to give CBSE Board exam on that time?

Age limit to appear in 10th board examination as per the CBSE rule:

Minimum age limit should not be less than 14.

Maximum age limit should not exceed 16 years.

As per the rule of CBSE, candidate must have minimum age of 14 years in order to appear in 10th board examination and age should not exceed 16 years. As you are having age of 14 years and 8 months, then you are definitely eligible.

As far as you are concerned about the age limit for appearing in CBSE Class 10th board examination then as per the CBSE circular for board examinations the age of candidate must not be below 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which the candidate got admitted to his/her Class 10th.
