What is the minimum age required to appear for 10th standard according to CBSE norms? Can you please give me the right details on the same? I want to appear for 10th standard exam in CBSE board but not really sure if am eligible because of my age!

Yes, there is a certain age criteria required in order to get admission into 10th Class of CBSE based board schools. Here is the age criteria that is required to get admission into 10th Class.

For 9th Class :-

>> Minimum Age Required - 13 years

>> Maximum Age Allowed - 15 years

For 10th Class :-

>> Minimum Age Required - 14 years

>> Maximum Age Allowed - 16 years

Your age should be in between 14 years and 16 years in order to get admission into 10th Class of CBSE based schools.

According to the norms of CBSE Board, candidates those who are appearing for the class 10th examination must attain an age in between 14 years - 16 years at the time of appearing in the examination, then only they will be eligible for the examination.
