How to join NCC being a PG Student?

NCC stands for National Cadet Crops. NCC is a move to develop youth.

Eligibility Criteria-
All college students are eligible for NCC.
Age must be in between 13 to 18.5 years for JD/JW.
Upto 24 years for SD/SW.

There are various types of campus for NCC.

Being a PG student, all you need to do in order to join NCC is that you just need to contact the officer in charge to your nearest NCC unit and ask him about the procedure for admission and follow the given steps by him/her. After having followed the admission procedure, I am sure you will be provided admission, if you would be eligible for it.

However, below I have mentioned the eligibility criteria for the same, kindly have a look at it.

> Candidate must be a citizen on India

> As you are a PG student therefore, your age should not exceed 26 years in any manner, in order to avoid discrepancy.(the minimum age is 18)

NCC stands for National Cadet Corps.
It develops character,discipline, a secular outlook and ideals of selfless service among young citizen.
It also creates a group of organised,trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities to serve the nation from which ever field they choose to make their career.

Eligibility to join NCC are
-Student must be citizen of India or Nepal.
-Student must be enrolled in any educational institute.
-Student must be of age
13 to 18 years for Junior Wing or Division
18 to 26 years for Senior Wing or Division

As you are pursuing PG then you must be of age above 18 years.
So , you can join Senior Wing of NCC if you are lee than 26 years of age.

You can join from the institute if it consist of NCC unit otherwise you can contact the Officer in Commanding of near by NCC unit to know about the procedure to join.
