ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM

Those candidate have completed their 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

There are no percentage criteria for NDA exam. Means those candidate have completed 12th are eligible for NDA exam

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR NDA EXAM:-

1) Written test which is conducted by UPSC.

2)Personal Interview.

Qualifications: You should have passed

your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics.But as far as UPSC Concern they have not specified the Minimum Marks in 12th.

Age : 16 ½ to 19 years

This is applicable only to men.

and minimum acceptable hieght for NDA is 157.5 cm


and this exam conduct twice a year whose notification come in employement newspaper!!

Eligibility Criteria For NDA

NDA (National Defense Academy) exam is conducted twice every year in the months of April and August for which the forms will be available in the months of January and April respectively..

In order to appear for the NDA exam..you need to fulfill the following conditions :-

1) You should be a 12th pass out (with Physics,Chemistry and Maths if you want to join Navy or Air Force)

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

The written exam shall test you on the following things :-

English
Basic Maths
General Knowledge

You need to first clear the written exam,then the interview and then the medical examination..

NOTE :- There is no restriction on the percentage of class 12th but its safe to have above 50% aggregate..

hiii friend...here i can help you...there is no such minimum percentage kept..........just you have to pass the 12th standard examination..........

For Army wing:-
*One must have complete the 12th or its equivalent with 60% aggregate in any trade..

*The age should be in between 16.5-19 years..

For AIR force and NAVY:-
*One must have complete the 12th in science having physics, chemistry and maths with 60% aggregate..

*The age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

There is no Minimum Percentage required to appear in NDA exam conducted by UPSC to choose best persons for Indian Defense Services. To appear in this exam you must have finished your 12th std from a recognized school. Your age must be above 16 1/2yrs and below 19yrs to appear in this exam. If you wish to join in navy or air force you must have taken science as your stream in 12th std.

Eligibility criteria For Army Wing of NDA:-

Candidate must be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

So there is no percentage requirement for NDA.

Other criteria:

1. The candidate should be between 16-1/2 to 19 years of age

2. Your marital status should be single.

3. You should be a citizen of India.

4. The candidate should be MALE.

So if you fulfil the criteria, you are eligible for NDA.

syllabus of NDA exam:-

Mathematics :- This paper consists of general mathematical topics till the+2 standard.

General Mental Ability:- General Mental Ability paper consists quesions from Physics (100), Chemistry(60), General Science (40), History (80), Geography (80) and Current events(40)

Pattern of Written Exam:-

Mathematics---300---2-1/2Hr
General Knowledge---600---2-1/2Hr

NDA exam is held twice in a year normally in the month of April and September.

hey,

NDA is a entrance examination for admission in various academy IMA,Indian navy,IAF etc which is held twice in a year in the month of April and September

Eligibility Criteria
you should be in 10+2/Equivalent from recognised boar/university or passed the same
To apply for navy and airforce you should have Physics & Mathematics in 10+2
you should be unmarried male candidates only
your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years
You should be citizen of India
To apply for airforce wing you shoould have height within 157.5cms-163.5
you should have chest 81 cms and expandable to 5cms
you should have proper eye-sight 6/6.
your weight should be according to your height

Selection Procedure:
Selection is divided into three parts :
written examination held by the Union Public Service Commission.
An interview by the Service Selection Board(SSB) to test your Intelligence and personality for Officer's training
Medical Check-up in a near by military hoapital.


there is no such criteria regarding the minimum percentage Because any 12Th passed candidates are eligible to apply for NDA Examination. So after completing 12Th you are eligible for NDA Examination

A minimum of 60% marks in class 12th examination is required to apply for NDA.

Sorry, you cannot apply for NDA while pursuing the 11th class as NDA requires a pass in 12th class from a recognized Board/University.
NDA or National Defence Academy is a national defence service program whose examination is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year namely NDA I and NDA II.
>It mainly consists of three wings namely :
1. Indian Air Force
2. Indian Army
3. Indian Navy
NOTE : The Indian Air Force wing and Indian Navy wing can be applied only the candidates who have pursued Science in 10+2. And Indian Army wing is applicable by Commerce and Arts candidates.
