I wanted to know, how much is the minimum percentage one should score in tenth (icse) in order to get into IIM? And further i would like to know which are the main subjects that will be given the most importance, and what will help me chase my dream!?

Those candidate have passed the graduation degree with above 50% marks from recognized university are applicable for MBA course in IIM.Only those candidate score 98 percentile above in CAT score are applicable for IIM.

After qualifying the exam you have to go through the GD session and interview session.Final year student are also applicable for IIM.Marks relaxation is provide only for SC/ST category.So you have complete your graduation first then you can Apply to CAT exam .

They are not require any kind of percentage marks in 10th or 12th.The minimum fees structure for IIM is above 10 lakhs.

For MBA from IIM you have to crack CAT entrance exam. IIM gives admission on the base of CAT. You have to qualify in that exam with at least 90 percentile. If you will qualify in that exam then you will have the opportunity to do MBA for IIM.

In order to get seat in IIM there is an eligibility criteria that is:

• you need to complete any graduation course
• you need to have atleast 50-60% in graduation
• and then you need to apply for CAT

after that you can join the iim if you get good rank in cat
the fees for doing MBA in IIM is 10 lakhs..

You have only one way to get seat for IIM's.You can appear for CAT exam.

Those candidate have completed graduation degree with above 50% marks are applicable for CAT exam but your degree must be recognized.For SC/ST candidate the percentage is 45 % in graduation.

Final year student are applicable for This exam.There is no age limitation.

This year CAT exam date already over so you can try for NEXT year.

First of all i would like to tell you that for getting admission into IIM you need to satisfy certain criteria that is :
1)you have to be graduate in any discipline with at least 50 % marks from recognized university /college.

2) you have to sit for an entrance exam that is CAT, and have to score good percentile (above 95 %) then you will have a chance to get admission in any one of the IIM institution ,that i have listed below :

To take admission in a IIM you must be having a graduate degree with an aggregate of 50%.you will have to score some really good marks in CAT since IIM's are best institutes of india.you should score above 98% percentile in the cat exam.I would advice you to join some coaching institute so that you can improve your time management skills since it is very important in CAT.

in order to get call from IIMs (both new and old) you need to score atleast 98+ percentile

The older the IIM or higher the rank of IIM, more is the percentile required.

For example

for IIM A you need 99.8+ percentile
IIM B, C you need 99.2+
IIM I, K, you need 98+
new IIMs 97+

Generally average salary after passing out from IIMs is around 11 lakhs per annum.
it ranges from 7 lakhs to 40+

If you are ST candidate, then you are given some relaxation in percentile


To get into IIM A, B and C your percentile should be greater than 90 ( or 93 to get a call)

To get into IIM L, K, I, your percentile should be greater than 83 ( 85+ to be sure)

New IIMs, your percentile should be greater than 77 percentile

These are approximate percentile and keep changing year to year.
