Respected Sir,
My son is 14 years old and promoted
to 9th standard from ICSE Board.
So, for him please tell me what is the
minimum age criteria for giving 10th
Board exam for ICSE Board?

There is no minimum age limit required to appear in 10th standard ICSE Board examinations. The ICSE Board has not specified any minimum age limit to appear in 10th standard ICSE Board examinations. Candidates who are pursuing 10th standard from ICSE Board are eligible to appear in 10th standard ICSE Board examinations. Since, your son is 14 years old 9th standard candidate, by the completion of 10th standard, he will attain the age of 15 years, so, he is eligible to appear in ICSE 10th standard Board examinations.

As such there is no age limit for appearing for the ICSE examination. However, schools, while admitting the candidates are requested to follow the norms as set by the State Education Department of the concerned State Government.

I am happy to say that there is no certain minimum or maximum age limit required to be eligible for ICSE 10th Class Examinations. Still, an appropriate and recommended age of a candidate must be in between 15 and 16 years. So I would say that the appropriate age limit required to be eligible is 15 to 16 years. Your son would reach 15 years of age by the he would step into ICSE Board 10th Class. Hence you do not worry at all about your son's age, as his present age is considerable to give ICSE Board 10th Class Examination. On the whole, I can say that the minimum right age required to give ICSE 10th Class Examination is 15 years.

Indian Certificate Of Secondary Education, that is ICSE board had been specified a criteria that you have to follow for getting admission in the 10th class.
The minimum age limit for getting admission in the 10th class under ICSE board is 15 years.
With concerning to your current issue there is no problem for getting admission in matriculation. But firstly you have to qualify the 9th class with minimum qualifying marks.

The minimum age limit for 10th class of ICSE board is 14.5 years old.
As your son is in class 9 at the age of 14 years, he will be 15 years old in class 10.
So don't worry he will be eligible for class 10th ICSE board.

My son DOB 4/7/2006 passed 7th st. Icse board in 2017 will be taken 10th st. ICSE board.

My daughter DOB is 26/06/2006. She passed class VIII in March 2018. Now, she take admission in class IX Apr 2018 and she will appear Xth examination in Apr 2020.
So, please tell us about minimum age limit of ICSE board in Xth class.

My son clear 8th class now he is drop 9th class and elegible in10th class

There is no age limit as your son has already attained the age of 14years as when in 9th so at 15year of age he will be giving his board exam

Firstly You have to qualify the 9th class with minimum qualifying marks.

The minimum age limit for 10th class of ICSE board is 14.5 years old. As your son is in class 9 at the age of 14 years, he will be 15 years old in class 10.
