I want to know that, am I eligible for government jobs like NDA, after passing 12th from NIOS board? Is NIOS board equivalent to other boards like CBSE,ICSE? Please answer as soon as possible.

Yes, NIOS is recognised board of MHRD and so the certificate is valid to appear for entrance examination such as NDA and other competitive entrance examination.

The eligibility to appear for entrance examination is :-

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or pursuing from recognised board.

Candidate's age must be between 16.5-19.5 years.

Only male candidates are eligible.

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) was established in the year of 1989 as an autonomous organisation by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. So, there must not be any kind of problem in higher studies.

NIOS certificate holder are eligible for NDA exam.

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice time in a year for three wings.

- Army wings

- Navy wings

- Air force Wings
