Admission in Indian Airforce with 10+2 certificate from NIOS?

Yes, you are eligible in Indian Air Force with 10+2 certificate from NIOS board. The candidate has to write the National Defence Academy (NDA) exam to get admission in Air Force.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should be citizen of India.

* Candidate should be unmarried male.

* Candidate should not be born earlier than January 1997 and not later than January 2000.

* Candidate should have passed class 12th of 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by state board or University.

* Candidate should be Physically fit without any deformities.

As you have class 10+2 pattern certificate from NIOS board, you are eligible to apply for the NDA exam.

You can join Indian Air Force after the completion of class 12th only and a candidate is eligible being an NIOS student also.

Procedure to join Indian Air Force after class 12th with Science stream:

The candidate should pass class 12th from a recognized Board in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subject.

The candidate's age must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

The candidate must be an unmarried male.

The candidate should should be a citizen of India.

The candidate should be physically fit as per the requirements.

The minimum height of the candidate should be of 160 cm.

The eye sight of the candidate must be 6/6 without glasses.

And more over the paper is very difficult because the questions will be in advanced level , so evenif you qualified to appear in NDA , you can't cross easily written test .

NIOS stands for National Institute of Open Schooling . It is an open schooling board. It is highly reputed board.
You can easily get admission in Army as being NIOS student.

You can apply for NDA that is National Defense Academy. nDA has three wings Indian Army, Indian Air force and Indian Navy. You can join for army after qualifying NDA exam.

If you will qualify the NDA written exam then, you qill call for a personal interview.

If you have studied 12th standard in Science stream them, you are eligible for the Air force with your +2 from NIOS. Only science stream students are eligible to join in the Indian Air Force wing. For this one has to write NDA (National Defense Academy) examination. NDA is the place where the Army, Navy and Air force train together. The eligibility age is not more than 19 years. After examination and then SSB (Service Selection Board) interview will be conducted and then the candidates will be sent for medical test. After successful completion of exams you will be placed in training.

Yes, you are eligible to join the Indian Air Force after qualifying the 10+2 from the NIOS. NIOS ( National Institute of Open Schooling ) and it is a recognised board. The certificate has equivalent value as compared to the other board.

To join the Indian Air Force you have to appear and qualify in the NDA examination conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. The eligibility to appear for the NDA examination is :-
* Candidates must have passed the 10+2 from the recognised board.

You have completed 12th standard from NIOS so you are not eligible for Air Force exam through NDA exam.

NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

Candidate's who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

The entrance to the Indian Airforce is given through the National Defense Academy entrance exam at the 10+2 level.
