I am looking forward to admit my son (aged 6 years; date of birth 24.08.2014) in South Point School in Class I. What are the procedures for admission in Class I. I have learnt from the school website that admissions are allowed in Nursery-I and Nursery-II only. When and how to proceed for admission in class I.

Sir, admissions for class 1 for the year 2014-15 has been closed. So this year your son cannot take admission into South Point School.
As for general admission procedure for standard 1st at South Point School, the school takes children on the basis of number of vacancies. It also suggests parents to check the school notice board as well as the school website in the month of December. The registration form for admissions along with the prospectus is available at the school office against certain amount in the month of January. Admissions are taken on a random basis, without entrance exams for children or their parents.

The admission notice is published in the month of December for class I. The notice is put up depending on the number of seats available. If there are seats available the details of the procedure and basic requirements are given in the admission notice.

Registration form are made available from the month of January. The registration has be done online only. There is no physical form available. The selection list is generated by random selection of names in a computerized way. Date of admission and other formalities will be provides along with the selection list.
