Hello Sir, I am interested to join Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of Dungrin. I want to study in 5h standard of this school. So, I just want to know that I have to give any kind of admission test for studying in 11th standard in this school?

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is a central government funded school located in most of the districts of India. It is a residential school for both boys as well as girls.

Entrance examination is conducted for admission in the school. Admission is only conducted in std 6th, 9th and 11th. So, there is no possibility of getting admission in std 5th and have to wait for a year if you want to get admission in JNV.

A candidate appearing for the selection test must be studying in Class-V for the whole of the academic session in a Government/ Government aided or other recognized schools or 'B' certificate competency course of National Institute of Open Schooling in the same district where he/she is seeking admission.
