NEET stands for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test which is conducted by CBSE .

If you have completed 12th standard with PCB then you are applicable for NEET Exam .Your 12th standard marks must be above 50% .SC/ST candidate required marks for NEET exam is 45% .

The minimum age criteria for this exam 17 years old. There is no maximum age criteria .

Date of birth of your son is 10-08-1998 , so in 2014 your son will be 16 years old .So sorry to say that you son is not eligible for NEET Exam in 2014 .

NEET Exam Pattern:-

Total Number of Questions: 180
Total Time: 3 hours
Negative Marking: 1/4th the total marks

Physics- 45 Questions
Chemistry- 45 Questions
Botany- 45 Questions
Zoology- 45 Questions

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG). For admission to MBBS/BDS courses’ in each academic year this exam is conducted by the CBSE. This year the exam took place in the month of May. It is a single stage exam and the exam was conducted offline.

Educational Qualification:-

1. For this exam you need to have 50% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

2. It is important to get the pass marks in English.

3. This exam can also be given by the final year candidates.

Age Criteria:-

1. You should have completed minimum 17 years t the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of that year.

2. The upper age limit of those seeking admission under 15% All India Quota seats is 25 years.

NEET Exam Pattern:-

Questions asked will be from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Biology questions will cover Botany and Zoology. You will get three hours to complete the whole paper. There will be 180 objective type of questions.

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test(NEET UG)

NEET is the common medical entrance test for taking admission in MBBS and BDS courses in medical colleges of India.This exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.So candidates who are interested to take admission in MBBS/BDS courses will have to appear and clear the written test of NEET.

As per current year 2013,your ward present age is only 15 years.So your ward will not be able to apply for CBSE NEET Written exam for year 2014.

Your ward will have to meet eligibility conditions that is been prepared for appearing in NEET Entrance exam.Its given below :

1)Nationality ->> Indian.

2)Age ->> Minimum age of candidate should be 17 years and should not be above 25 years.

3)Academic qualification ->> Candidates should have a minimum qualification of Inter pass out with Physics,Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board.

4)Marks ->> Candidates from General & OBC category should have a minimum of 50% marks in Inter and Candidates from SC & ST category should have a minimum of 45% marks in Inter.

Exam Pattern for Written test :-
~This exam will have single paper including questions from three subjects.

2)Chemistry - Total number of questions will be 45.

3)Biology(Botany + Zoology) - Total number of questions will be 90.

for admission in mbbs/bds this exam is conducted by cbse every year, it is conducted once in a year

it is a offline exam

eligibility for the exam :

1. must be 12th passed with minimum 50% in physics, chemistry and bio

as your son's age is 10-08-1998, your son will be of 16 in 2014 and sorry to say he is not eligible for neet in 2014 as the minimum age limit is 17 years

lower age limit is 17 years since most students give their 12 board examination at this age.
but a important point for you to notice that NEET is now discarded. from the year 2014 onwards there will be separate conductions of AIPMT , STATE PMT's, AFMC.
this was one of the recent decision by honable supreme court of india.

NEET which stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test is an entrance level test being conducted at the national level for the admissions in the UG Medical courses of MBBS and also BDS.

NEET Eligibility-:

AGE LIMIT-:The candidate should have completed 17 years of age while admission or by 31st December of that year.

In other words,the minimum age is 17 years.

As your son will be just 16 years, 4 months, and 21 days even on 31st December 2014,he will NOT BE ELIGIBLE for the NEET 2014


Educational Qualification-:

The candidate must be passed in the 12th standard with the subjects of Physics,Chemistry,Biology,English with aggregrate of minimum of 50% marks in Physics,Chemistry and Biology for General candidates and 40% Physics,Chemistry and Biology for SC/ST/OBC candidates.


Pattern-:
The paper normally would consists of,
Physics-45 questions
Chemsitry-45 questions
Botany-45 questions
zoology-45 questions.

The total time->3 hours.
There is negative marking of 1/4th.
