How to get enrolled in PhD Bioinformatics? Is it necessary to clear NET, GATE, ICMR like exams?
I am a post graduate in Bioinformatics working as Database curator(Jr.scientist) in a core Bioinformatics company. I have 2yrs of job experience. As I cant see any growth in company I want to get enrolled in Phd. Is it necessary to clear NET, GATE, ICMR, etc exams to get enrolled in Phd in India?

Admission is possible through entrance exam conducted by the concerned university, if you haven't got NET/GATE/ICMR like qualifications. Also, it would be easier to get admission in a reputed university, if you have got any of these scores.
If you have not got any of these scores, then you will be able to appear for entrance exam of the concerned university, when there is an admission notification. |
