If you have completed Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Institute, then surely you can apply for further studies in Engineering discipline. You can apply for B.Tech course through lateral entry scheme. You will get direct admission into 2nd year of B.Tech course. For getting admission into 2nd year of B.Tech you need to appear for an entrance examination.

You can also go for AMIE course which is also equivalent to Engineering degree. AMIE is for those who want to study engineering in correspondence mode without any regular classes. It is a difficult option because you have to study on your own and pass the 13 subjects in a given time period. The good thing about AMIE is that you will have option of doing a job while studying for AMIE.

Hence, you can surely have good options for you and it is up to you to decide what do you want to do in future.
