The Bachelor of Law degree is a 4 year long course. The initial step as to study bachelors in Law abroad is to find a college or university which offers the Bachelor’s of law degree. Candidates will find colleges in most of the Common law countries. The main Common law countries include UK, Singapore, Pakistan, India, Australia, Canada etc. Some other countries which join the list of Common law countries are Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Ghana, Cameroon, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, Hong Kong etc.

Application procedures for pursuing bachelors in law abroad

A candidate who wishes to apply for the LLB program can submit an application form for the course any time of the year. The candidates who want to join the course commencing next year will have to apply in the previous year as early as possible.

Candidates must gather as much information about the college, course and also the country in which the college resides in. candidates can request application from the college to which they wishes to apply. Each off the college will have their own application procedure. Some of the requisites which will be asked along with the application form include assessment letter, academic proposals, fees, and various test scores and even essays.

Send your application material to different colleges preferred and wait for a response. Once a candidate’s application request is accepted, a candidate will have to make further arrangements for the transportation and accommodation as to attend the course in that college. Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must be above the age of 17 years as to join LLB in most of the universities. A candidate from India must hold a full-time 3 year degree from any of the recognized and acceptable universities or institutions in India.

General Application Criteria

Applicants must meet the English language criterions. Either the candidate’s mother tongue must be English or the candidate must provide substantial evidence like GCSE or GCE ‘O’ Level English Language with grade C or even pass certification of English proficiency test acceptable to the concerned University. The students must also make a payment of required fee as to authenticate the admission.

Application Requirements for Law course abroad

Most of the universities also ask for other valid certification and requisites. Applicants must submit at least three recommendation letters by academics which is identifiable with the applicant’s educational background. All international applicants whose mother tongue isn’t English have got to qualify in any of the language tests like TOEFL or IELTS with high scores. Applicant must also put forward a statement of purpose which states the background of study and also long term goals. Candidates are also requested to submit a research paper on English.
