Am I eligible to do aeronautical engineering after completion of diploma course?


Hi,

I am studying Diploma Engineering in EC(electronics & communication).
it is possible aeronautical engineering after diploma in ec ?
and how i get required percentage.. ? Can someone provide me the answer on this.

No, you are not eligible to do Aeronautical Engineering course after completion of your three years Diploma course in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Only candidates who have completed three years Diploma course in Aeronautical Engineering or those who have completed 12th standard with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects from any recognised board are eligible to pursue Aeronautical Engineering. Being a Diploma holder in Electronics and Communication Engineering, you can get direct admission in second year of four years B.E/B.Tech course through Lateral Entry admission process but, you are not eligible to do Aeronautical Engineering course.

No, diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering candidates are not eligible for B.Tech/B.E in Aeronautical Engineering.

Those candidates who have completed diploma in aeronautical engineering from a recognized university are eligible for B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering.

Your age should be above 17 years.
