According to Council of Architecture, no candidate with less than 50% marks in aggregate, shall be admitted to the architecture course unless he/she has passed an examination at the end of the new 10+2 scheme or Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics as subjects of examination at the 10+2 level.

OR

10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks.

To see the term and regulations for admission in Architecture please visit the official website of Council of Architecture, admission section:
http://www.coa.gov.in/school/admission.htm

If your daughter want to pursue her career in Architecture then she should go for bachelor's degree rather than diploma. But as her grades do not make her eligible she can go the other way around. She can first do her 3 years diploma and then pursue her further studies in Architecture.

The basic eligibility for Diploma in Architecture is that the candidate must pass class 10+2 from a recognised board or equivalent, with one subject as mathematics.
Entrance examination are held for diploma in Architecture.
