=> M.Sc. Physics or Master of Science in Physics is a postgraduate Physics course.

=> The duration of this course is two years.

=> For this course candidate should have passed B.Sc physics from a recognized university.

=> The minimum percentage required in bachelor degree for M.Sc Physics course is 50%.

=> As per my knowledge, you are not eligible to get M.Sc(Physics) admission in Delhi University after 43% in B.Sc(Physics)

12 th marks are not considered while getting an admission for post graduation. But yes the percentage obtained in bsc physics do matter. When it comes to delhi university, you require minimum 50% marks in bsc physics from a recognised university. But you can still apply to many other universities which doesnt require 50% marks. And there are also many universities where they doesnt consider your marks in graduation they take the marks of entrance exams that they conduct.
Thank you

No, you cannot get admission into M.Sc Physics course in Delhi University.

M.Sc (Master of Science) in Physics is a post graduation level degree. The duration of the course is 2 years.

For studying this course in Delhi University you need to hold a B.Sc (Hons)/ B.Sc general/ any graduation or its equivalent education in related subject with minimum 50% from any recognised university.

Since you have studied B.Sc in Physics and scored less than 50% you cannot get admission into the Delhi university.

For more detailed information about eligibility and admission process check the PDF and visit the official website of DU.

Your percentage of marks in Bachelor's degree in Physics is very less. The minimum percentage to apply for non DU student for admission in Master of Science course is 60% from a recognized university.

With 43% marks in Bachelor's degree in Physics, you can not apply for DU M.Sc admissions.

1. The candidate should have passed 12th by a recognized board like CBSE, PSEB, BSEH, ICSE etc.
2. The candidate should have passed B.Sc.(general) or B.Sc. ( Hons. physics) with 50% or above marks in aggregate from well reputed college/university.
3. The admission in DU will also depend on the Entrance exams like CUCET, DUET, NITTET.
4. The marks count is 85% in entrance + 15% graduation marks.
So the probability for a 43% marks is very low but still not zero..there are certain colleges which can admit you..so don’t lose hope..all the best.

Having completed your B.Sc in Physics degree course with 43% marks, you are not eligible for admission in Delhi University to pursue M.Sc in Physics degree course as for pursuing M.Sc in Physics degree course you were required to have completed your B.Sc in Physics degree course with at least 55% marks ( or 50% marks in case of SC/ST candidates ) from a recognized university.

Delhi University is one of the best university in India. Students from all over India seeks for admission in this prestigious university.
M.Sc is 2 year postgraduate degree for those students who have completed Bachelor degree from any recognised university.
For admission in M.Sc Physics in Delhi University, minimum 55% marks in compulsory in Bachelor degree program.
As mentioned, you have scored only 43% marks in B.Sc Physics, so, you will not be eligible for admission in postgraduate course in Delhi University.

For students who have scored less than 50% marks in Bachelor degree still they want to take admission in postgraduate then IGNOU(Indira Gandhi National Open University) is best option.

Eligibility Criteria Required to pursue M.Sc in Physics in Delhi University:

As far as my best knowledge is concerned, you are not eligible to pursue M.Sc in Physics course in Delhi University. The basic educational qualification required to pursue this course is given below,

<> You should have completed B.Sc (Hons) Physics with minimum 50% marks or above from a recognized university.

<> Or You should have passed B.Sc (Genl) or B.Sc with minimum 60% marks or above in order to be eligible.

<> As your percentage in Graduation is just 43% marks, I can say that you are not eligible to pursue this M.Sc in Physics in Delhi University.
