Of course any university whether Government or Private which offers degree course in technology has to get approval from All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE). If it is not approved by AICTE then the degree certificate is not considered to be recognised.

Both the Universities- Punjab University and Guru Nanak Dev University are already approved by AICTE.
