I am a post graduate in Biotechnology from ACMSS college Bangalore.I am fresher in this field. Would you please guide me in getting a job.

Biotechnology as a subject has grown rapidly. A biotechnologist can get into government institutes and organizations, such as Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Development of Education, Science and Technology at Thiruvananthapuram.

Other fields include agriculture, dairy and horticulture institutes. Pharmaceutical companies like Dabur, Ranbaxy, Hindustan Lever, and Dr. Reddy's Labs, and many more. Food processing industry, chemical industry, and the textile industry are the other areas where you can look for jobs. Hindustan Lever, Thapar Group, Indo American Hybrid Seeds, Bincon India Ltd., IDPL, Hindustan Antibiotics, etc. are some of the big companies that employ biotechnologists.

Since you are in banglore you can also approach some of the companies personalay for the job
you can also appear for net exams or join the research in this filed

Biotechnology is emerging as very good field having good scope.... you so can do phd through NET exam or through abroad.

it has nothing to say that everybody knows about it.

There r no any single oppurtunities in jobs to PGs in biotech .Its better to take MS or PhD after M.Sc

Sir, I have completed my Msc biotechnology with distinction from pune.I am a fresher and searching for job in this field for the past one year.I am searching jobs in biotech as well as pharma companies.But I couldn't get any appropriate job.Should I be sear ching for jobs in other states as well. Please give me your advice.
