i have registered for 24 dec 2011 net exam.i got 52 marks in paper 1,48 marks in paper 2 and 67 marks in paper 3.i want to enquire about my score card.shall i eligible for any felloship or lectureship program.kindly give me details

Dear Friend,

The NET Stands for National Eligibility Test. The NET Exam is conducted every year twice by the University Grants Commission.

On behalf of the Ministry of Human Affairs , the UGC conducts the NET Exam for the selection of candidates for the following posts :

* Lecturership

* Junior Research Fellowship

The Qualifications Required for National Eligibility Test are :

## The candidate must have completed Post Graduation in any stream from any UGC recognized university.

** The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in post Graduation.

** The Candidate must not have any pending backlog.

** The candidate pursuing PG in final year can also apply.

** There is no age limit for the Lecturer post.

** The Age Limitation applies only for the post of JRF and is 20-28 years for candidates belonging to General Candidates.

** There is also a relaxation of 3 years for those who belong to OBC Candidates and 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.

** The candidate must be an Indian.

** There is no limit on the number of attempts for the NET Exam.

The NET Exam is conducted every year twice in the months of June and December.

The NET Exam is conducted in the following stages :

1) Written Examination

2) Interview
