NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year .

After clearing the all stage of NDA Examination you can join any of the following Defence Service :-

-->>Indian Air force

-->>Indian Army

-->>Indian Navy

Indian Army :-

->>You must be Citizenship of India .

->>You must have a Intermediate with any discipline Commerce / Science / Arts / Other Stream of reputed Institution .

->>You must have a minimum 16.5 years and maximum 19 years .

Indian Air force / Navy :-

->>You must be Citizenship of India .

->>You must have a Intermediate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects of reputed Institution .

->>You must have a minimum 16.5 years and maximum 19 years .

Selection Process :-

-->>Written Test ( General ability , Mathematics )

-->>SSB Interview

-->>Physical Test

NDA II Examination was already completed . Next Notification will be publish in the month of Dec or Jan in the official website of UPSC as well as Employment News / Rozgar Samchar . You may apply only online mode and there is no offline facility for NDA Examination .

>paper i is mathematics of 300 marks
>paper ii is the general ability divided into two parts:-

* NDA Stands for National Defense Academy.

* If you want to join Indian Air Force Or Navy right after completing your 12th then you have to crack the NDA examination which is conducted twice in a year by the Union Public Service Commission.

The Eligibility Criteria for NDA exam are :

* You must have completed your 12th from any recognized college/university.

* You must have PCM as your key subjects in your 12th standard.

* You must be an unmarried male.

* Your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years.

* Girls are not eligible for the exam.

* You must be physically and mentally fit.

I HAVE DONE DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL WITH 59.6% FROM PSBTEIT AND 2 OF ARTS AND DOING BTECH IN MECHANICAL ENGG. AM I ELIGIBLE FOR ANY KIND OF POST IN INDIAN AIR FORCE AND NAVY

As far as the eyesight criteria is concerned, your eyesight must be correctable atleast up to 6/9 for both eyes after the use of lenses or spectacles.
You should be able to read long distance short fonts clearly.
Apart from this you will have to undergo a physical test and also 2 written exams which will finally determine your qualification.
