Is GRE necessary for doing MS in computer science in Germany?


I'm pursuing my B.Tech final year in computer science dept, is it necessary to take GRE for Masters degree in Germany? Or only German language test is enough? What % should I have for doing masters in Germany?? Can someone please give me the information on the same?

Yes, GRE is necessary for MS course in Computer Science in Germany.

GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination.

There are no specific eligibility criteria for GRE Test. This examination is open for all candidates who are willing to pursue higher degree in abroad.

1) Revised General Test
2) GRE Subject Tests

1) Verbal Reasoning (130-170)

No, it is not mandatory to appear in GRE examination for doing MS course in Computer Science in Germany. To get admission in MS course in German Universities, you must have to appear in TOEFL/IELTS examinations. TOEFL/IELTS examinations helps you to prove your English Language Proficiency skills in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking sections for getting admission in Abroad Universities. By reporting your examinations scores, you can apply for admission to MS course in German Universities.
