This test is conducted by Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in various centers in Ludhiyana. This test is held for the admission of candidates to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry course conducted in College of Veterinary Science, Ludhiana.

Structure of GADVASU CET- B.V.Sc & A.H

This test includes one paper covering three subjects. They are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates should answer the questions by selecting one option from four choices given. Candidates should finish the examination within three hours. Total numbers of questions given for each subject are:

• Physics: 66 questions
• Chemistry: 66 questions
• Biology: 68 questions

Each correct answer can get you one mark. Negative marking is not there in this test.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification needed for the candidate is plus two or equivalent. He should have passed 12th studying Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects under recognized Board or University. Also candidate should score 50% aggregate. SC/ST candidates need only 40% aggregate. Candidates who crossed the age of seventeen will not be eligible for writing this test.

How to Apply?

Application form with prospectus can be collected from the office of Dean, College of Veterinary Science, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University,   Ludhiana.They can personally collect the form by paying Rs.900/- in cash counter or can collect through post by sending DD of Rs.950/- to the concerned authority. DD payable at Ludhiana needs to be taken in the name of the Comptroller, GADVASU Ludhiana -141004.For NRI candidates the payment will be Rs.2000/- for collecting personally and Rs.2200 for collecting by post. GADVASU CET costs an examination fee of Rs.1700/-. DD worth this amount needs to be taken in the name of the Comptroller, GADVASU Ludhiana -141004. It should be payable at Ludhiyana. Filled application with this DD will be acceptable by the authority.

How to fill the Form?

Green colored form is preferred for requesting admit card while white colored form is needed for counseling. While applying for admit card and counseling check this matter.

Applications should be filled by the applicants personally. Green form need latest photograph of the candidate. Color photograph is needed. It should be passport size photograph. It should be pasted in the specified place on the form. Specified documents should be submitted with the white colored form. Signature should be put by the candidate on the specified place on the form. Whatever personal information given on the form by the candidate should be genuine. While sending application make sure it is complete.

First of all for studying, choosing right study materials is important. They are available online as well as offline. Select a place for studying. The place should provide quiet environment. Noise will distract the mind from studying. Keep that place tidy. Studying same topic for hours will easily make mind to get tired. So study different topics in a day. Make a time schedule that allocate time slot for each of these topics. Time allocated should be based on the knowledge in each topic.

Solving many MCQ’s will help to acquaint with the exam structure and pattern. It will also help keeping  time for finishing a question.
