Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is one of the well known academic institutes in the country. The university offer different programs for the aspirants including the technical and non-technical course, different courses in arts, science and commerce streams etc. The GGSIPU conducts common entrance test, called GGSIPU CET, for the admission purpose of the colleges under the university. The GGSIPU CET B. Ed test is a national level entrance exam for the all the bachelors of education aspirants.

Structure and Syllabus for GGSIPU CET B. Ed

The GGSIPU Common entrance test for B. Ed is of objective type exam with 150 questions. The duration of the examination is 150 minutes with 600 arks. Each incorrect response will cause minus marking. The question paper wills be in English only covering the following areas,

• English Comprehension – 15 questions
• Mental Ability – 30 questions
• Reasoning – 30 questions
• General Awareness – 30 Questions
• Aptitude for Teaching – 45 Questions

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification required to take the CET for B. Ed is the graduation in any arts or science stream with least 50% marks in the final university examination. A candidate having the Master’s degree from the recognized university with 50% marks in the final examination is also eligible for taking the GGSIPU CET for the B. Ed examination. The age limit for applying for the program is put to be 35 years. There will be relaxation for the reservation category. The candidates can get the detailed information regarding the subject selection in the information brochure.

How to Apply?

The aspirants can apply for the exam through online by using the link: http://ipu.admissionhelp.com . The candaites can directly purchase the application form from the selected Punjab and Sind bank branches across the country. One can also send the request for application form along with the self addressed envelop and the DD of application form Rs. 1000/- to the controller of GGSIPU CET.

How to fill the Form?

After reading the information handbook the applicant can fill the form by following the instructions. They can fill the form only in English. It is important to full fill the eligibility requirement to take the examination and the candaites must fill every applicable column in the form. They can use a black pen for filling the boxes and use a HB pencil for darkening the ovals. A recent color photo in necessary dimension should be pasted in the appropriate column. The partially filled and overwrite applications will be discarded so the candidates should handle the application form with care.
