Pattern of GNDU CET LAW/LLB/LLM Entrance Exam:

There will be different set of examination for different programs. CET LAW/LLB/LLM Entrance Exam test paper consists of 300 objective questions with multiple options and is divided into four parts.

Part I - 50 questions from Mental Ability.

Part II- 100 questions from General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

Part III- 100 questions from Aptitude for Law.

Part IV- 50 questions from General English.

Syllabus:

GNDU CET LAW/LLB/LLM Entrance Exam follows no particular set of syllabus. Questions asked for Three years LLB Law program are of graduation level, while questions asked for Five year BA.LLB (Hons) program and Five Year BA.LLB program are of 10+2 level.

Eligibility for GNDU CET LAW/LLB/LLM Entrance Exam:

*For five year BA.LLB(Hons) program, the candidate should have completed their Higher Secondary Examination from Punjab School Education Board or from any other Board recognized by the University with an aggregate score of 50%  in total and 45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates. The applicant should also be less than 20 years of age and 22 years in case of SC/ST candidates as on 1st July of the year of admission.

*For five year BA.LLB program, the candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from Punjab School Education Board or any other board recognized by the university with at least 45 % in total whereas in the case of SC/ST candidates 40% is needed. Also the candidate should be less than 20 years and in the case of SC/ST it is 22 years as on 1st July of the year of admission.

*For three years LLB Law program, candidate should have an undergraduate degree of Guru Nanak Dev University, Punjab University & Punjabi University or any other degree equivalent to it with minimum of 45% aggregate marks and 40% in the case of SC/ST candidates. The candidate should be less than 30 years of age as on 1st of July of the year of admission.
