The medical council of India has approved the Armed Forces Medical College to admit six students per year for the Diploma in Hospital Administration course. Even though, in the process of admission, Armed Forces Medical College gives preference to service officers, any unutilized seats for the course are offered to civilians.

Eligibility requirement:

For getting into the Diploma in Hospital Administration course offered by the Armed Forces Medical College candidates must be graduates from the medical profession in any of the following disciplines:

Allopathy medicine

Homeopathy medicine

Unani medicine

Ayurveda medicine



Paramedical disciplines

Admission Procedure:

Admission of civilians to the Armed Forces Medical College is done based on the performance of students in the entrance examination, for which advertisements inviting applications from eligible candidates are published in popular newspapers.

Objective of the course:

Diploma in Hospital Administration course is offered by a few colleges in India with the following objectives:
