Medical College:

Dr. S.N. Medical College came into existence in the year 1965 and the college is affiliated to the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. The college is offering MBBS course with a capacity to admit 100 students per year. The college began to offer PG courses in the field of medicine from the academic year 1974-75 and the college is working under the control of the Government of Rajasthan. For seeking admission to the UG Course (MBBS) offered by the college, candidates must get through the Rajasthan Pre-Medical test conducted and for PG courses, candidates should secure a valid score in the Rajasthan Pre-PG test.

Engineering Colleges:

MBM Engineering College stands for Mugniram Bangur Memorial Engineering College and this college came into existence in the year 1951. The college became a constituent unit of Jodhpur University in the year 1962, whose present name is Jai Narayan Vyas University. The college is offering Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Engineering in different branches like information technology, production & industrial engineering, mining engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics & communication engineering, electrical engineering, computer science & engineering, chemical engineering and civil engineering. It is also offering ME in different branches of engineering. The Indian Institute of Technology in Jodhpur was established recently in the year 2008 and this institute is offering B. Physical Education College:

Government College of Physical Education came into existence in the year 2000 and the college is affiliated to the Rajasthan University. The college is offering Bachelor of Physical Education course, with an intake capacity of 120 students per year.

Polytechnic College:

Government Polytechnic College came into existence in the year 1961 and the college is offering courses under three different schemes namely diploma, PWD and EMD scheme. The diploma courses offered are mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science engineering, electronics & fiber optics engineering and civil engineering. Under the PWD scheme, the college offers courses like canning, computer awareness, embroidery, bookbinding, computer data entry, computer financial accounting and painting and fine arts.
