The Staff Selection Commission has a nationwide network comprising 9 Regional/Sub-regional Offices. The primary role of the Staff Selection Commission is to recruit eligible candidates for Group C (non-technical) and Group B (including both non-gazetted technical & non-technical) posts in the departments of Government of India and its subordinate offices.

Eligibility:

Age criteria – Technical Officer-I - 18-27 yrs, Senior Research Assistant - 20-27 yrs, Technical Officer – Up to 28 yrs, Senior Library Information Assistant - 18-27 yrs, Laboratory Assistant - 18-27 yrs, Junior cartographic Assistant - 18-25 yrs, Field Assistant - 18-27 yrs, Deputy Ranger – Up to 28 yrs, Senior Radio Technician – Up to 30 yrs, Assistant Examiner - 21-30 yrs. The age limit is relaxable as per rules.

Educational Qualification and experience – The candidate must have specific educational qualification and experience as prescribed by the Commission. Selection Process:

Application fees:

The examination fee of Rs. 50 must be paid by means of Central Recruitment Fee stamps (CRFS) that will be available at the counter of all Posts Offices. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Servicemen/ Female candidates.
