How to fill DCEE form?

Candidates seeking admission in any of the under graduate engineering projects of the University of Delhi can attend the Combined Engineering entrance examination held by the University. 85% of the total seats are reserved for candidates within Delhi and rest of the seats are for the candidates from other states of the country.

The combined Entrance Exam is a highly competitive test and only well prepared candidates can get through the exam.

Instructions to be followed for filling in form

Candidates must be careful care while filling in the application form. All the details have to be entered correctly. The centre of the examination must be entered without committing any error. Elective subjects must also be mentioned properly. Only the eligible candidates will be allowed to attend the exam. No documents need to be submitted at the time of submission of application form. The selected candidates need only submit the required documents during their time of interview.

Exemptions to be taken care while filling in DCEE entrance exam form

While filling the application form, the candidates must be aware of the general rules he/she should follow. The SC/ST candidates are provided with an age relaxation of 5 years and those belonging to OBC community have an age relaxation of 3 years. Also there is a fee discount of Rs.200 for the SC/ST candidates.

Important dates regarding application of DCEE entrance exam

Application forms will be disposed every year from March to April. The application forms via post usually reach the concerned address before first week of April. Last date for online submission of application forms will be by the middle of April.

Acknowledgement of exam application form

On receiving the application form, the candidate will be acknowledged about the same through online mode. Usually a acknowledgment mail will be send to the candidate’s email address which is specified in the application. If due to any cause the application form is rejected then also the candidate will be informed about the same. If the candidate fails to receive any acknowledgment within 30 days, he/she should contact the Entrance Commissioner. Now a day, the acknowledgement is also send to the candidates to their mobile number specified in the application form.
