ICWAI Financial Accounting Papers
ICWAI (Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India) is an accountancy body and is involved in finding out scientific methods in cost and accountancy. Financial accounting is an important paper in ICWAI. This paper is a bit difficult, but from scoring point of view a candidate can score high marks as this paper has many sums. Candidate can attempt the sums and score really high marks.
Journal, ledger, cash book, goodwill, depreciation, revenue expenditure, branch stock, final accounts are important topics in this paper. Candidates must practice all the questions well so as to reduce the silly mistakes. This is a very scoring paper and candidates must try to score good in this paper. Students may also solve mock test papers online.
Time Limit for the examination
Maximum time allotted to students for this paper is 3 hours. No extra time is given in any case.
Marks Distribution and Paper Pattern
Total marks for the financial accounting paper is 100. There are altogether 6 questions to be attempted. The first question is compulsory and out of the rest of the questions only five are to be attempted. First question carries 25 marks and rest questions carries 15 marks each. Questions may contain many sub questions which carries different marks. Candidates must try to attempt those questions that have many sub questions. The paper consists of many sums and few theoretical questions as well.
