Indian Forest service is one of the most respectable and dignified occupation in the country. Thus, the examination recruiting candidates for this respectable position also has to be quite efficient. That is why IFS examination is so important.

Division of the Paper:

The paper is divided in to two sections. The Sections are Section A and Section B. Both the section has 4 questions in it.

Paper pattern:

IFS Mechanical Engineering (Paper II) Paper has a particular pattern which is followed in the paper. All the questions are in English and the answers are also supposed to be written in English language. All together the paper has 8 questions. However, the candidates are supposed to answer only 5 out of the given 8. The answers should have question number 1 and 5 along with 3 more answers with at least one from each section.

Markings:

The total mark allotted for the paper is 200, and every question is of 40 marks each. However, the sub parts of the questions vary in marks and their marks are well written in brackets.

Time allotted for the examination:

The time allotted to the candidates for this paper is 3 hours.
