ICFAI School of Public Policy (ISPP) provides Research and Post Graduation Programme in Public Policy. ISPP is part of ICFAI University, Tripura. ICFAI School of Public Policy is a Government recognised institute. ICFAI University, Tripura was founded in 2004 and is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). Distance Education Council has also approved programmes of ISPP. ISPP provides full placement assistance to the candidates after the completion of the programme.

The School has been designated as one of the pioneer institute that is providing quality public policy education. Not only that the school also aims at providing high grade consultancy as well as research based education. The ICFAI Group has taken initiative to excel the public policy based education in India through establishing ISPP. The School improvises the education through an innovative means of case based approach that provides excellent practical exposure to the several candidates. The School has been known to provide high quality based research programs. The School also aims at providing comprehensive style of teaching and several training programs that provide unique career opportunities for candidates who have undertaken admission in the Institute.

The School also aims at changing the public policy education in the country through unique training programs that involve lots of stable practical programs. Admission to ISPP’s PhD and Master’s programme in Public Policy is through the consideration of applications send by the candidates. The shortlisted candidates are called to appear in an admission process consisting of a written test, Presentation and Interview after which final selections are made. Candidates in the PhD. programme will also be given monthly stipend during the programme.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Master’s programme candidates should have done Graduation with at least 2nd class in sciences/ commerce / social sciences / Engineering / law.

For PhD. programme candidate must be post graduate with at least 55% aggregate from a recognized University in any of these disciplines:

2. Law

3. Engineering

4. Environmental Sciences

5. Commerce

6. Business Management

Candidates who are currently employed in government and academic Institutions are also eligible to apply for this course.
