Name of the Vacancy: JMG Scale I Officer (Post Code: 03)
Number of Vacancies: Total number of Vacancies is 31, which is divided among the different categories as given below:
• SC – 05
• ST – 02
• OBC – 08
• General – 16
Out of the 31 positions, one post is reserved for PWD candidates, which includes HI, VI and OC candidates.
Period of Probation: Two years, this is extendable to a period of one year
Pay Scale: 14,500-600(7)-18,700-700(2)-20,100-800(7)-25,700
Eligibility requirements:
Educational qualification: Candidates must be graduates in any field of education and preference will be given to candidates Accountancy, agriculture, economics, horticulture, law, forestry, management, animal husbandry, information technology, veterinary science, co-operation and agricultural marketing. Candidates must be proficient in Bengali Language and preference will be given to candidates with computer awareness and knowledge.
Age Requirement: As on the 1st of July 2011, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years.
Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in written test and interview. The written test will be conducted for 200 marks. The written test is fixed to be conducted on 16th of October 2011. Application fee:
The fee applicable for general category candidates is Rs.400 (SC/ST candidates is Rs.50). The fee should be paid in any branch of United Bank of India by downloading the fee payment challan from the website of the United Bank of India at www.unitedbankofindia.com and the amount should be paid to account number 0229050207065 to the Bangiya Gramin Vikas Bank Recruitment Account. The candidate copy of the challan should be produced by the candidates during written test.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements, will have to apply online through the website of the United Bank of India at www.unitedbankofindia.com between 2nd of August and 30th of August 2011. After submitting the application online, the system generated printout should be preserved by the candidates for future reference.
