JNTU PACET 2011 Planning and Architecture
Planning and Architecture Common Entrance Test (PACET) is an examination conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) for admission to 4, 5 and 6 years courses in planning and architecture. It is conducted every year for candidates all over the country.
Availability of application forms:
The application forms for the JNTU PACET 2011 can be availed from its official website. The form is said to be available by the month of May every year. It is then required to be filled with essential details and submitted back before the last day of submission. The Applications forms can also be obtained by sending a DD drawn in favor of Secretary, APSCHE. There are various colleges and centers mentioned in the website from where forms can be collected in person.
How to apply:
The application forms are to be properly filled with all the necessary details and are then required to be submitted before the last date of submission. The candidates are required to properly go through each and every step before filling up the application form. The candidates should fill up the application from in their own handwriting. The signature that the candidates will provide in the application from should be done by them. The candidates should make it a point to fill up the application form with a dot blue of black pen. Usage of Fountain pen in order to fill up the application form is strictly forbidden. Furthermore, the candidates should properly and clearly fill up the application from. Negligence of any kind during the filling up of the application form will result in the termination of the application itself, which in the case that the form will be considered as void. Also, the candidates who are obtaining the application from through post have to forward a requisite letter to the concerned authority and should have to write the letter in their own handwriting. Duplicate handwriting or signature in the letter will directly result in cancelling of the letter.
Cost of application form:
The cost of the application form for the JNTU PACET is Rs 400 only. People can avail it in person from the mentioned centers by paying a demand draft of Rs 400, or can download from the website and pay Rs 400 in the form of demand draft while submitting. One can also avail the form by post by writing to Secretary, APSCHE, with a demand draft of Rs 450 only.
Eligibility criteria:
1. The candidate should have Indian nationality.
2. The minimum age of the candidate is 16 years.
3. The candidate should also belong to Andhra Pradesh.
4. The candidate should have passed the class 12th examination from Andhra Pradesh or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks.
5. The candidate must also have studied mathematics and English as main subjects upto class 12th level.
Proposed important dates:
1. MAY 2011– availability of application forms.
2. JUNE 2011– deadline for submission of completed application forms.
3. JULY 2011– date of examination.
Examination pattern and syllabus:
For admission to architecture:
1. The examination is conducted in 2 parts.
2. The first test is drawing test and tests the drawing aptitude of the candidate. The duration of first paper is 2 hours.
3. The second test is Aesthetic Sensitivity Test and tests the perception, creativity, imagination of the candidate. The duration of this examination is 2 hour and is computer based.
For admission to planning:
1. Single test of 2 hours duration.

Hi, I Have discontinued My B.arch (ptdc) in the fourth year, and i didn`t pay the fees for second year and completed all the semester till 4th year, I took tc from the college to leave abroad
and now iam planning to continue the remaining three years. My quick question is there any possibilties to recontinue my b.arch and cancel the tc as i didn`t pay the fees for second year. Waiting for ur response.

sir my sister got around 1200 rank in AIEEE in B.Arch.she got seat allotment in SPA bhopal which is far away so she want to join in JNTU.unfortunately she doesnt know abt the tests conducted by JNTU so she did not appear for those tests.is there any scope for her to join ur university….?
