i have given b.arch paper of aieee and i have cleared it..is it necessary to give nata for getting admission through aieee...

No, dear for getting into B.Arch course you dont have to clear NATA, if you have already cleared AIEEE for B.Arch.


You will get admission into any AIEEE supporting institute and if you had scored well then you can even expect NIT's.

Let me know your AIEEE score, if you are able to appear for councelling.

No its not at all necessary. NATA and AIEEE B Arch exams are different. So if you cleared AIEEE B Arch then go for the counseling and hope for the best college.

If you have clear the AIEEE exams for B.arch, then there is no need to
clear the NATA exams. So, with the help of AIEEE exams score, you
will get good colleges in councelling, if you have score good marks
and rank in AIEEE exams...........

My daughter would be completing plus two grade next year. Our status is NRI. From this year SAT exam is cumpolsary for admission into indian colleges. She intend to do B.Arch in India. Can anyone guide us, whether she should write NATA or SAT or both ? Also, please explain why two different examinations namely NATA and SAT.

dear,
AIEEE and NATA are different.so for getting admission to engineering colleges AIEEE is enough but you have to score well to get good college.

if you cleared the exam of aieee then there will be no need to give nata exam because you will get admission in any one college participating in aieee.

Sorry dear its not possible for you.........!

As per COA rules, a candidate applying to any school / college of architecture in India should have achieved
40% score in the total NATA score, i.e. at least 80/200, for consideration of admission into first year B.Arch. (In then 11th page of NATA Information Brouchure)

So, you are not eligible for Admission, and wont get any college for the same.

You have scored well 159/200 is a good score and enough to get good Institutes.

For example:-

Amity University

Chandigarh college of Architech

Sushant school of art and architech

D.C. Patel School of Architecture

Goa College of Architech

Sinhgad college of architech, pune.

I want to do b.arch.My AIR in AIEEE is 47049,catogary rank 11485 and my home state(haryana) overall rank is 1405 and catogary rank 227 but,I hve not alloted any seat till.Hence I want to know other universities through which I can do b.arch . I have done NATA & i have 70 marks in nata exam. I want to take admission in b.arch . now what will i do? plz help

It is very good that you cleared AIEEE for B.Arch.
As far as your question goes, you dont need to clear NATA.
Getting a good rank in AIEEE is good enough.

If you really want to go for the B.Arch, then AIEEE is sufficient you do not need to pass any other exam,the only thing required s you must be qualify +2 exams..

There is a particular section in the application form whether you want to apply for the B.Tech Or B.Arch..

So fill the appropriate column for that..and then sit for the exam with full preparation.

yes most colleges would ask for your NATA score during Addmission procedure...

Its better togive the test while you are in 12th std...

Just scoring 82 marks cant get you in any good B.Arch courses.

At least with 120 marks you can expect any average Institute. However, reputed institute like- Amity school of Architech and Planning provides admission among TOP 500 scorers of NATA.

While AIEEE is the best entrance for persuing B.Arch.

So, I will advice you to appear for both NATA and AIEEE next year.

You have mistaken NATA and AIEEE are different exam .they do not have any connection between them
NATA
It is the exam for getting admission into B.Arch.
AIEEE
It is the entrance exam for getting admission into BE or B.Tech
